Carmen Weaver will be presenting the Memphis TLINC project at the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) International Convention. During Ms. Weaver’s session, attendees will learn how the University of Memphis site has implemented TLINC and tailored it to its needs. Key challenges and successes the Memphis project has faced will be reviewed. She will also provide guidance to other districts seeking to use emerging technologies to build and support learning communities of novice and expert teachers to aid in teacher retention and accelerated proficiency of new teachers.
AECT is a professional association of thousands of educators and others whose activities are directed towards improving instruction through technology. This year’s convention will be held November 4 – 8 in Orlando, Florida.
