Be a Mentor

University of Memphis student teachers are doing important work, and we want to support them via the TLINC project. Help us by volunteering to be a mentor for these new teachers. If you are an experienced teacher, please contact Carmen Weaver and she will connect you with a group of five or six teachers you can meet with online or in person.

Mentors who successfully complete the semester are eligible to receive an iPod Shuffle, or a $75 Amazon gift card!

New student teachers begin TLINC

Over 120 student teachers have created accounts with TLINC and will begin an online mentoring program this semester–Fall 2008. Students will also have the opportunity to use their TLINC account as part of their seminar experience this semester.
